Between Friends is the story of several college buddies who gather for a birthday celebration weekend seven years after graduation. As people trickle into the celebration, old ties are renewed, past hidden discoveries are made, and personalities are amplified. Along the way of “catching up” with one another, the friends find that some didn’t like others, some didn’t trust others still, and some held stereotypical views on marriage, race, drug use, sex and politics. When one friend is revealed to be the target of a gambling investigation, everyone wonders what other “issues” everyone else is hiding. Over the course of the weekend, the friends find they must examine just what it was that made them so close years ago.
The dramatic and humorous story comes to life as the friends reconnect, break bonds, and start to rebuild, all while learning more about one another than anyone expected.
